The best time to get the full benefits of a post workout snack is between 30 minutes to 1 hour after your workout. You want your body to use the snack towards repairing and recovering from the work you just did. The fastest way for your body to get the protein it needs it in the form of a liquid. This is why many choose protein shakes, yogurt smoothies or milk after a workout.</p>

<p style="font-family: Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; line-height: normal;">2. <strong>1 scoop Whey Protein Powder.</strong> 1 cup milk or water.  <span style="font-size: small;"><em>My favorite is <strong><a style="color: #99cc00;" onclick="window.open('http://www.designerwhey.com/designer-whey/','http://www.designerwhey.com/designer-whey/','location=yes,scrollbars=yes,menubar=yes,toolbar=yes,status=yes');return false;" href="http://www.designerwhey.com/designer-whey/" target="_blank">Designer Whey Strawberry Protein Powder. </a></strong>It&#8217;s my fav simply because it&#8217;s tastes delicious!</em></span></p>
<p style="font-family: Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; line-height: normal;">3. <strong>1 cup Cottage Cheese with fresh berries</strong>.</p>
<p style="font-family: Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; line-height: normal;">4. <strong>1 cup plain yogurt with berries</strong>.  <em><span style="font-size: small;">I try to find a </span></em><a style="color: #99cc00;" onclick="window.open('http://www.blog.intofit.com/2008/09/sinless-snack.html','http://www.blog.intofit.com/2008/09/sinless-snack.html','location=yes,scrollbars=yes,menubar=yes,toolbar=yes,status=yes');return false;" href="http://www.blog.intofit.com/2008/09/sinless-snack.html" target="_blank">Greek style fat free or low fat brand.</a><em><span style="font-size: small;"> They tend to have twice if not three timesthe protein then other brands.</span></em></p>
<p style="font-family: Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; line-height: normal;">5. <strong>Two turkey slices wrapped around 1/2 ounce of 2% milk fat cheese</strong>. <em><span style="font-size: small;">If you can&#8217;t find 2% look for 4% or low fat. And if you can&#8217;t find any of these, a little fat from cheese won&#8217;t kill ya!</span></em></p>
<p style="font-family: Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; line-height: normal;">6. <em><strong><a style="color: #99cc00;" onclick="window.open('http://www.blog.intofit.com/2009/06/cheese-strings.html','http://www.blog.intofit.com/2009/06/cheese-strings.html','location=yes,scrollbars=yes,menubar=yes,toolbar=yes,status=yes');return false;" href="http://www.blog.intofit.com/2009/06/cheese-strings.html" target="_blank">Two cheese strings</a></strong></em> or one ounce of low fat cheese.</p>

If you ever feel nauseous or light headed after a workout try munching on a banana!</em></span></p>
<p style="font-family: Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; line-height: normal;">8. <strong>Decaffeinated Latte</strong>. <p style="font-family: Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; line-height: normal;">9. <strong>Hard boiled egg</strong>.</p>
<p style="font-family: Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; line-height: normal;">10. <strong>1/2 a can on tuna</strong> seasoned with yogurt, mustard and some chopped celery !</p>
