Easy Quinoa Recipe

I really do love Quinoa. It’s technically a grain, but it forms a complete protein! That means that it contains all eight essential amino acids your body needs in order to use protein properly in your body. No other grain ( that I know of does this!) Making this a great choice for vegetarians.
Despite it’s hard to pronounce name, Quinoa is easy and fast to cook! It contains fiber, calcium and Vitamin E.
Here is a super easy Quinoa Recipe- this is a great one to try if you’ve never had Quinoa before. Once you get a feel for the taste and texture you’ll realize there is so much you can do with it!I like to eat Quinoa as a light lunch or as a side dish instead of a starch.

What do you think of this?

This is tough. Here is a link to how I feel about ‘fake’ sugar :

I personally don’t think that coolers are the best choice of drink to begin with. There are health benefits to both wine and beer (in moderation) and none to a flavored cooler. I personally would stay away from that stuff. But if you really want a cooler, have ONE and make it one with real sugar! At the very least, your body will know how to digest it.
Is feta much better for you than goat cheese? I find my favourite (goat cheese) is always forgotten about but I tend to use it whenever a recipe calls for feta!
Also – really? Low-fat cheese? I have never tried it but am skeptical. Is it very different?
What kind of quinoa do you buy? I went to the grocery store and couldn’t decide whether to get red quinoa or if one is whole grain or what the different types were etc.
Help?
Goat cheese is great. I use it a lot too. One of my favorites is a spinach salad with goat cheese, strawberries and poppy seeds!
I can’t believe you’ve never tried low fat cheese. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
The red Quinoa, as I have recently discovered, is basically the same stuff. It is known to have a stronger, more bitter taste to it so I buy the regular kind. Feel free to mix the two. Try making a red and white Quinoa salad! This is sure to impress your guests!
So I went to the grocery store last night looking for low fat cheese and could only find low fat Babybel! Is it hard to come by? Would you recommend Babybel like you do cheese strings because it is good for portion control or is an inferior type of cheese (as it seems to me)?
Weird. Low fat cheese is very easy to find. Look for 2% milk fat cheeses, low fat Cheddar, low fat Havarti, low fat Feta. I don't think they make low fat Goat Cheese, but I could be wrong.
I like the cheese strings simply because they are good for portion control. The baby bells are good for that as well – eat which ever you like best !
