Of all the different types of regional food, I love greek. In truth, I crave Tzatziki. So I decided to make a dinner based on the sauce I was going to dip it in! Here is what I made!
Greek Style Turkey Burgers
- 1 package lean ground turkey meat
- 1/2 medium onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, mashed
- 1 Tbsp dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup of oat bran
- 1/4 cut of black olives, diced
- 1/4 cup of sun-dried tomatoes, diced
- 2 ounces light feta cheese, crumbled
- 2 Tbsp low fat Italian salad dressing
- 1 egg, whisked
- Combine all ingredients and divide in to 3 – 4 ounce patties.
- 2. Barbecue or grill and serve with a side of Tzatziki and salad!
