Water is nature’s weight loss remedy!
Everyone tells you to drink it, now you’ll know why!
  • Did you know? When most people begin to feel the onset of hunger they are actually simply thirsty. Drinking water can prevent you from eating that extra snack. Water suppresses your appetite!
  • Water is food! This may not be the most fun thing to learn, popcorn tends to taste much better than water.  But would you fill your car’s gas tank if you just needed windshield washer fluid? No. Eat the right food for the right job. Your body will thank you.
  • Did you know? Water is a key to your body metabolizing fat. With enough water, your metabolism will work more efficiently to burn fat as fuel.
  • Did you know? When your body does not get enough water, it will begin to hold onto every drop. This causes fluid retention and bloating. The more water you drink, the less you will retain, and the less you will bloat.
  • Did you know? Water helps your body rid itself of unneeded salt – which can be a major factor in high blood pressure.
  • Did you know? Water helps rid your body of waste (fat is waste).  During weight loss, your body has a lot more waste to get rid of – fat must be shed and water must be present to help your system get it done.
  • Did you know? A little water can go a long way when it comes to your stool. When your body gets too little water from outside sources, it takes it from the inside (the colon is one of the primary places it gets it)- This causes constipation.
Water Can Also-
  • Boost energy levels
  • Alleviate some headaches
  • Help to reduce blood pressure
  • Help to reduce high cholesterol
A great way to know if you’ve had enough water is to look at your Pee. Yup, that’s right. If you’re properly hydrated your pee should be clear or pale yellow.  Have a look in the potty, if your pee is not clear or pale yellow, you need more water!
Moral of the story : Buy yourself a 1 liter bottle of water and fill and finish it at least 2 times a day. (I have a SIGG bottle. You can get these online or at any outdoor adventure store. Click the picture above. It will take you to their site)
